Piera is the founder and editor-in- chief of the popular mom blog, Jolly Mom.  She is considered one of the top general market mom bloggers in the country and has received several online accolades for her achievements, including being recognized by Nielsen as a Power Mom and named one of the Top Fifty Mom Blogs by Access Communications.  Piera’s years of experience in social media and blogging has given her a firsthand look into the power of blogger/brand relationships and how to create successful campaigns that resonate with moms.

Piera was born in Uruguay and is fluent in both Spanish and English.  She moved to the U.S. when she was a year old and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and son.

Angela is an award-winning, public relations professional with more than 15 years of experience in Hispanic PR and marketing.  In 2011 she was named PR Professional of the Year by the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA), for her work in advancing the industry as co-publisher of the Hispanic PR Blog and as an co-founder/organizer and partner of Hispanicize Event, the annual event for Latino trendsetters and newsmakers in social media, marketing, entertainment and innovation.

A longtime Hispanic public relations and marketing consultant, Angela has directed national marketing initiatives for: The American Heart Association’s Go Red Por Tu Corazón, Unilever, Burger King and AstraZeneca. Prior to launching her own businesses, Angela worked in Edelman Multicultural’s New York and Austin offices, where she played an integral role in directing national Hispanic campaigns for Fortune 500 companies including Unilever, Kraft Foods, Hershey’s, and Starbuck’s.

Angela leverages her expertise to provide strategic counsel and develop comprehensive communications programs that tap into the power of blogger engagement and social media. A native Texan of Mexican descent, she holds a B.A. in Latina American Studies from Baylor University. Angela resides in Miami with her husband and four children.

Cristy is an entrepreneur and award-winning marketing, media and communications practitioner with more than 15 years experience and specialization in Hispanic and multicultural community initiatives. She is the founder and publisher Los Tweens & Teens, a bilingual blog and community resource site engaging multicultural parents and kids from ages 7-12 which she launched in 2011. In 2012 the site is expanding its content focus to include teen-related pages for videos, book reviews, parenting resources, tips, and more.

Cristy brings her expertise in entrepreneurship, marketing and business to the Latina Mom Bloggers team and helps to create new services and support for bloggers, while creating unique social media engagement programs for clients.
Prior to joining the Latina Mom Bloggers team, Cristy led PR Newswire’s Multicultural Markets division as senior vice president, a role she was appointed to following the 2008 PR Newswire acquisition of Hispanic PR Wire, LatinClips and Hispanic Digital Network- all companies that she co-founded and spearheaded. She also helped found the Hispanic marketing practice at global agency Porter Novelli.

A New Jersey native of Cuban descent, Cristy is an active Girl Scout Troop leader and volunteers with other community organizations, speaks nationally at conferences and blogs regarding social media initiatives at Hispanicize.com. She resides in Miami Beach with her husband and identical twin daughters.
